Last month, me and my girls took a much-needed girls trip to the beach and had the best time laying in the sun, lounging in the hot tub, and eating. (because let's be honest - what else are girls trips for?) We spent just under 72 hours in Miramar Beach, but did our best to hit as many cute shops and delicious restaurants and cafes as we could, so I put together a little guide if you're planning on visiting the area this summer!
It's only a 7 hour drive, or hour long flight from Nashville, and legitimately the cleanest beach I have ever seen. If you fly into Pensacola like we did, I'd recommend renting a car for getting to the beach and having more options for getting around. However, we did walk a ton of places and totally could've just gotten a ride from the airport. The ~vibes~ in Miramar are super low-key, making it the perfect place to chill and unwind with your partner or gal pals. 10/10 would recommend.

recap reel here for a quick overview of our trip!
We stayed at the cutest vacation rental just steps from the beach and it was the perfect place for relaxing, and getting a little work done. We spent a ton of time in the hot tub and pool, and loved how we could walk so many places! The property even has bike rentals and discounted access to a bunch of local activities.
This place had the widest selection of unique lattes I've ever seen and I've been thinking about my "Monkey Mocha" ever since.
Went here twice their smoothies and acai bowls were so good! Something about fresh fruit on the beach just hits different.
This was the cutest beach cafe - we got avocado toast, smoothies and coffee and went and ate at a picnic table right on the beach.
This place is right across the street from Gettin' Sun and had incredible seafood (and that's saying alot coming from a girl who isn't a huge fan of seafood in general). We got the smoked tuna boats, blackened shrimp tacos, and the captain's platter.
This was the sweetest little town that reminded me of Disney or a quaint little European town. It's super colorful and has tons of shops, restaurants, outdoor activities, and season festivals.
We spent a ton of time just lounging on the beach and in the hot tub and it was so lovely. We walked on the beach, checked out some local thrift shops, and generally just chilled. We went when the water was still pretty chilly, but there are a ton of water sports and boating activities to check out in the summer months!
We walked over here on the beach a few times - for daytime pina coladas, for a Sunday night bonfire on the beach, and for sushi!
